What are Classic Lashes? A method where one individual lash is safely applied to one natural healthy lash at approximately .5 of a millimetre from the base. A typical full set can very from 40 extensions up to 150 extensions per eye depending on desired look and of course how many natural lashes the clients has to begin with.
What are Hybrid Lashes? Simply a combination of both classic and volume. Perfect for those who love classic but want to add a little more drama to there look or for anyone wanting to test out volume lashes without going all the way.
What are Volume Lashes? Is a technique using super light weight extensions, created into a fan, placed on one individually isolated natural lash. So, instead of the 1:1 ratio of classic lashes, you may have a 1:3 or 1:5. This technique creates intense volume with a soft, fluffy look with zero pain & damage.
How long will they last for? The extensions will last through a full lash growth cycle, normally 6-8 weeks. Each extension will fall out along with your natural lash when they are ready to shed & depending on your lash growth cycle you will need refills every 2-4 weeks.
Does it hurt?
No. Miss Peninsula Beauty offer a damage and pain free service using only high quality lashes and high quality lash adhesive which is both medical grade, internationally certified and does not have any formaldehyde in it.
Will they ruin my natural lashes?
No, not if they’re applied correctly. They are completely safe and do not ruin the health of your natural lashes.
If you have had extensions applied in the past which have hurt, pulled or just didn't feel right then one or all of the following may have gone wrong:
- There was no isolating one individual lash at a time.
- To much glue was applied.
- The extensions are either to thick or too long or even both for the natural lash to hold.
- Was applied by an inexperience or untrained technician.
Can I remove my extensions myself?
Please do not attempt to remove them yourself. You will cause more damage to your lashes. Either book in for a lash removal or let them fall out naturally.
How do I look after them?
Brush them daily using a mascara wand, avoid using makeup, makeup removers & mascara containing oil, & no rubbing or pulling at your lash extensions. This will insure you get the best wear out of them.
